Post Partum Haemorrhage remains one of the leading causes of severe maternal morbidity and even mortality. In this session experts will highlight possible differences of coagulation in the parturient, how to test these patients and how to link these results to the most appropriate treatment. The attendees will be informed about a common, multinational algorithm which has been proposed for Germany, Austria and Switserland and how successfully (or not) it has worked some years after its installation.
